Sustainable Transport Africa participated in the first edition of Smarter Mobility Africa held in Pretoria, South Africa in October 2019 and subsequently participated as a panelist at the October 2020 virtual event due to COVID-19 restrictions which will also be the case for the October 2021 virtual event.

Sustainable Transport Africa participated in the Electric Vehicle Road Trip (EVRT) which was held after the 2019 Smarter Mobility Africa event where we drove a fleet of electric vehicles from Pretoria to Cape Town via Port Elizabeth, a distance of 2,000 Km while launching charging stations every 200 to 250 Km in various venue types including shopping malls, hotels and petrol stations.
